Study the impact of gamification, learn basic game theory, and explore elements of gaming that can be integrated into existing curriculum.
Closely examine aspects of project-based learning in a blended setting in order to reflect on and refine current instructional practices.
Apply knowledge to their instructional practice through the design, development, and delivery of activities and lessons.

Leadership Series

This series is aimed at supporting educational leaders as they begin to design and implement digital learning in their school or district. This series:

Provides an overview of blended learning basics as well as a deep dive into sustainable and disruptive models.
Supports high-quality blended learning across multiple groups of stakeholders: students, teachers, and community-at-large.
Tools and strategies are introduced, shared, and practiced.

Personalized Learning Series

Provides educators with the opportunity to study tools and best practices for personalized learning implementation. Course participants will:

Build student profiles and diagnostic assessments, learn how to use data to guide students in identifying learning targets and writing objectives and goals, and design multiple assessments for various mastery levels.
Examine student support structures and management of independent learning time.

Provides educators with an introduction to the basics of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). Course participants will:

Learn about the elements of SEL, diving deep into each, and explore social-emotional learning in the classroom. Understand how to measure SEL and implement activities supporting SEL soft skills-building.
Focus on cultivating an environment that supports SEL and effectively integrates SEL best practices.

Content-Specific Courses for Blended Instruction

Provide educators with the opportunity to examine blended instructional best practices and strategies within a core subject.

Subjects included in this series are math, English, science, social studies, PE and health, and special education. There is also a course specific to librarians or media specialists.
