2000 — The Foundation

StrongMind began as the Institute for Educational Development, built around a simple belief: education should evolve to meet the needs of every learner.

2009 — Supporting Schools

The organization became FlipSwitch, expanding its role in supporting charter schools with operational management and educational services as online learning began gaining momentum.

2015 — The Birth of StrongMind

The company rebranded as StrongMind and shifted its focus toward creating engaging, research-backed digital curriculum designed specifically for online learning environments. The first courses were developed for Arizona’s largest online school, setting the foundation for scalable digital education.

2016–2017 — Award-Winning Innovation

StrongMind proved that online education could be both rigorous and engaging, earning five Regional Emmy Awards and the EdTech Cool Tool Award for its innovative digital learning experiences.

2018–2019 — Expanding Access

StrongMind expanded its curriculum offerings to support homeschool families and independent learners while continuing to refine its learning platform to create a more intuitive student experience.

2020–2021 — Meeting the Moment

As remote learning accelerated around the world, StrongMind supported thousands of families and schools transitioning to online education while strengthening adaptive learning tools and flexible digital resources.

2022–2023 — Empowering Families

New parent-friendly tools and expanded homeschool partnerships helped make high-quality online learning more accessible to families seeking flexible education options.

2024 — A Platform Emerges

StrongMind launched StrongMind Central (SMC), an all-in-one K–12 virtual learning platform designed to simplify online education, connect learning tools, and improve student engagement.

July 2025 — Building the Future of Homeschool

Development begins on a dedicated StrongMind homeschool platform designed to give families flexible curriculum, intuitive progress tracking, interactive learning experiences, and supportive tools for parents.

February 2026 — Global Recognition

StrongMind is named a Top 25 Global Impact-Certified EdTech Company in the High Impact category, recognizing its role in expanding access to meaningful digital learning worldwide.
